Judge rejects challenge to teacher evaluations

U.S. District Judge Mark Walker ruled that “despite serious flaws identified by the plaintiffs with the system, the Legislature could rationally conclude that such evaluations further the state’s legitimate purpose.’’ So he would not declare it unconstitutional “even if it seems unwise or if the rationale for it seems tenuous.”
