At least one potential version of right-to-work legislation in Michigan is written and ready.
But will it actually be introduced for Michigan lawmakers to consider – and unions to fight?
Stay tuned. Michigan Republicans could decide as early as today whether or not to introduce a “right-to-work” proposal for consideration during the final weeks of the 2011-12 legislative session.
More key meetings are expected today.
Rep. Mike Shirkey, R-Clarklake, is one of the lawmakers most likely to introduce a bill. But he says he won’t do it unless it has a path to approval.
