Louisiana gov tells Jersey City audience Dems are governed by teachers union: report

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal had some harsh words from both the Democratic and Republicans parties when he gave the keynote speech at a “pro-school choice” dinner last night in Jersey City, ABC News reported.

The Louisiana governor, a Republican, who recently enacted some school reform measures in his home state, said the Democratic party “seems to be governed by the national teachers unions” and added that the Democratic party is made up of “political action committees and protesters,” ABC News reported.

He was a little kinder to the GOP, but chastised as a party that “sometimes seems too afraid to stand up for what it actually says it believes in.”
