Some Palm Beach County schoolteachers aired their grievances Monday about how the Classroom Teachers Association’s board of directors is running their union, especially after the ousting of its interim executive director.
“We kind of feel, the teachers in the school, that we’re not really represented by this board,” teacher Jeffrey Levinson said during a night meeting at union headquarters.
Teacher Mindy Newman added that she was saddened to see the union divided by infighting over the board’s March 5 decision to remove Tony Hernandez without first telling teachers.
