U.S. Senator John McCain Friday introduced the Postal Reform Act of 2011. The Arizona Republican says it’s a bill to restore the financial health and long-term viability of the United States Postal Service.

The Postal Service is facing a $10 billion loss this fiscal year, and could see a shortfall of $238 billion by 2020. The Postal Services say by the end of this month, it will not be able to make a required $5.5 billion payment to fund future retirees’ health benefits.
